1.How are the ideas of the Magna Carta evident in the founding documents of the US?

Magna Carta started the idea that all people had certain rights that not even a king could violate. It listed a number of actions the king of England could not take without consulting nobles and having their consent; basically, it said that the king does not have unlimited power and he needed the approval of those he governed. This is similar to what Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence called "unalienable" rights: rights that are naturally given to us and cannot be impeded on (such as the freedom of speech).
