log2 8=log2 2^3=3log2 2=3
You can write 8 as : \[8 = 2^3\]
So, \[\large \log_2(2^3) = 3 \log_2(2)\]
And now using: \[\large \color{green}{\log_a(a) = 1}\]
So: \[\log_2(2) = 1..\]
