OpenStudy (anonymous):

what molecules diffuse out of the capillary from the arterial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Water molecules...:p

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

CO2

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

from the arteries to capillaries? most likely carbon dioxide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Water moves out at the arterial end of the capillary..

OpenStudy (aaronq):

from capillaries into cells? O2

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

diffuse OUT of the "arterial" capillaries arteries are vessels in which particles travel away from the heart, into the pulmonary circuit. That is us breathing out, releasing CO2, and then as we breathe in we intake thus oxygenating the blood as it travels back through the veins into the heart to be pumped out of the rest of the body once again.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it is more appropriately to use the term pulmonary capillaries in order for the answer CO2 to be on point.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

but as the blood travels form the heart - through the body - to the lungs , CO2 diffuses out from cells into circulation (at the capillaries) and O2 diffuses out of the capillaries into cells. The answer is dependent on what point of reference they're using.
