what derivative rules can I use to solve this? pix^2 + e

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if that is the equation, the only rule you are using is power rule. e is a constant (e^1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^and constant multiple rule too

OpenStudy (primeralph):

When something is so easy that you can't explain it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol :P ikr. and @abb50 you can consider "constant multiple rule" as power rule since it's equivalent to e*x^0 so power rules gives 0*e*x^(-1) = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for \[\pi x ^{2}\] the final answer would be 2 (pi) x ? because e is a constant?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is right

thanks!
