HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

For the 1st one use y-y1=m(x-x1) m is your slope and the point they give you is your x1 and y1.

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

No math needed, look at what they gave you and what I gave you and you should be able to see it. What do you think the answer is @Ambbiiee?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

@Ambbiiee I'd be happy to show you how to do all 3 of these problems if you are active.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay that's great because i am still stuck on #1 @marissalovescats

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

Okay you don't have to do any math with number one just look at it. They gave you a slope of -1, that is your m. That gave you a coordinate of (-2,5) where -2 is your x1 and 5 is your y1. Plug that into the equation of y-y1=m(x-x1) and what is your equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i am going to write this down

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

Okay take your time :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its A

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

Not quite. Pay close attention to when it says y-y1 and x-x1. This means a negative will be a positive and a positive will be a negative. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then the answer is d right ? since we are Turing it into a positive

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

Maybe this will give you a better visual on that |dw:1373393942211:dw|
