Based on the symmetry of the molecules, which is a polar molecule? A. SeCl2 (bent) B. BeCl2 (linear) C. BF3 (trigonal planar) D. CF4 (tetrahedral)

The reason is the bond angle. It will look somewhat like a triangle, with selenium at one point and the two chlorines at the other points. The point with selenium will be positive (since it has the lower electronegativity) and the side formed by the two chlorines will be negative (higher electronegativity)....so? would it be A.?
