a zscore is separated into 2 parts: x.x0 and .xx -1.30, forget the sign; is 1.3, and .00 0.75, is 0.7, and .05 we use this to find the value located on the ztable find 1.3 on the left, and .00 on the top, where they cross in the middle is a number
