Have you seen the Law of Cosines? There's a clue, there.

acute I think because the pyth. theorem says if its equal its a right so if its less I assuming acute.

yes that is correct, there is a theorem that says If the square of the length of the longest side of a triangle is less than the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides, then the triangle is an acute triangle
