Translate the following verbal mathematical expressions into their equivalent symbolic counterparts. 1. The sum of two numbers is half the difference between them. 2. The product of two numbers is twice the difference between them. 3. The product of three numbers is five times their sum. am i right for these? (╯°□°)╯ 1. a + b = (a-b)/2 2. ab = (a-b)/2 3. abc = 5(a+b+c)

OpenStudy (chillout):

English is not my 1st language, but I'd guess the second one is wrong. The product (a*b) is twice (2*) the difference between them. I guess the right mathematical statement would be ab = 2(a-b)

OpenStudy (chillout):

For the other ones, they seem OK.

\(^□^)/ Thanks, i didnt see that, haha
