you get two solutions if you solve a second degree functions... for example (x+1)(x+2) = x^2 +3x +3 right.. how many solutions did I get?

alright but, your function is not a 2 nd power or third power so what we can do is graph it from -10 to +10 and see if we get any x intercepts ok..

if you don't than you have no intercepts...

well no real solutions all of the solutions will be complex numbers...

I graphed it and saw it had not x intercepts. This means it has no zeros, correct?

It asks how many we can expect, and then the choices are A) 6 B) 2 C) 3 D) 4

well than you expect 4 because its a 4th power function...

remember when I was explaining that if its a 2nd power function you expect 2 zeros and if its a 3rd power function you expect 3 zeros and etc.
