2x - y = 2s 2x - 2y = 4s The lines whose equations are shown intersect at which point? (0, -2s) (-2s, 0) (4s, 2s)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what is the y intercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the only info i have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I mean do you know how to find the y intercept by substitution method?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

somewhat dont you replace the x with 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ill show you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please hurry im on a time limit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have the equation 2x - y = 2s 2x - 2y = 4s ------------------------------ so x cancels out and you are left with y = -2 so found the y intercept so what would the answer be? the answer would be the first one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
