in first triangle, 180 - 38 = 142.. and then?

OpenStudy (maddyx):

2x - 3 + 38 + x = 180 ( in triangle left one) x = 145/3 (put this in x containing equations ) x = y ( vertically opposite angles are equal ) now y + w + 4w - 5 =180 (you know value of 'y' which is equal to 'x'. put this here and find w ) you know x, y ,and w. put their values in the respective angles and get their value :) --- hope it works!!!

@maddyx OMG. You are so helpful! Thank you so much<3

OpenStudy (maddyx):

2x - 23 + 38 + x = 180 ( in triangle left one) x = 55 (put this in x containing equations ) x = y ( vertically opposite angles are equal ) now y + w + 4w - 5 =180 (you know value of 'y' which is equal to 'x'. put this here and find w ) you know x, y ,and w. put their values in the respective angles and get their value :) --- hope it works!!! (THIS IS EDITED ONE...I PUT SOME VALUES WRONG)
