PicnicTech markets three versions of its Picnic Egg Boxes: the Golden Deluxe, containing 3 gold eggs and one plain egg; the Regular, containing 2 gold and 2 plain; and the EconoLunch, containing just one gold egg and 3 plain ones. The corner store has 5 Golden Deluxes on sale, 2 Regulars, and 3 EconoLunches. You go to the corner store and buy a Picnic Egg Box at random, and select an egg from it at random. Use a probability tree diagram to calculate the probability that the egg is a gold one.

hey can u help

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Sure I am reading the question.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Well we have to use keywords to solve this problem. We know that the Golden Deluxe has 3 golden eggs and one plain egg, the Regular one has 2 gold and 2 plain, the EconoLunch has one gold egg and 3 plain ones. However, at the side store we see that it has 2 Regular and 3 EconoLunches. So using this information, we have to find the total eggs that there is that is avaliable from the side store.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Since we know that the Regular has 2 gold eggs per each box, we know that is 2 boxes we have 4 golden eggs. Also, we know that the EconoLunch has one golden egg, we know that there will be 3 golden eggs.

yeah ok so then how would I solve this?
