I'm not guessing. Since the first limit is -2-, which means you must plug in -2 into the function where it says x<-2, the second limit is -2+, which means you must plug in to x>-2, whatever you get, if these 2 limits don't have the same answer, then the last limit will be undefined and the answer will be 1000.

And you're right, if you plug in -2 for the second limit, the answer is 0. I was mindless because I plugged in 2 instead of -2. But now you know it. I'm not guessing.
