PRECALCULUS QUESTIONS?
I'm not looking for the answers. I just forgot how to solve this type of problem.
My guess would be to substitute the given values for \(v_0\) and \(h\) then solve for \(\theta\). Beyond that, I'm lost.
noone appreciates jokes around here..geez
I get sin(theta)cos(theta)=4/11
I didn't know I was supposed to acknowledge it.. Lolz
My old notes from a few months ago? I don't have them. I'm going to college in a few weeks, but I'm trying to brush up on some material
\[\Large h = \frac{ v_o^2 }{ 16 } \sin \theta \cos \theta\] v=60, h=100 Plug that in, and use this identity \[\large 2 \sin \theta \cos \theta = \sin 2 \theta\]
Try looking at www.purplemath.com - it is a great resource for high school math topics.
Thanks everyone! I'll check it out
@katherine.ok What do you mean you get the equation below? \[\sin(\theta)\cos(\theta)= \frac{ 4 }{ 11 }\]
when you sub givens you get 4/11. and hint is sinxcosx=(sin2x)/2
so sin2x/2= 4/11. sin2x=8/11, and you know how to do it...
Okay, thank you! :)
