For this equilibrium reaction, which of the following describes how the given stress affects the equilibrium position? 4NH3 (g) + 5 O2 (g) 2-way arrow 4NO (g) + 6H2O (g) + heat Answer increase in pressure results in shifting of equilibrium to right decrease in temperature results in shifting of equilibrium to left increase in heat results in shifting of equilibrium to the right removal of O2 results in shifting of equilibrium to the left

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

what do u think the answer would be ? Based on Le chatliers principle try to answer them .....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A? because pressure increase results in he shift of equilibrium to the right?

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

how 9 moles are there on left and 10 moles are there on right if u put pressure the equilibrium shifts to the left or right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh to the left - okay let me think.

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

ok fine :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe the last one because when you decrease reactants it shifts?

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

yup :)

Thank you alot again!
