OpenStudy (ttop0816):

answer has to be in square root also btw!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both are similar triangles therefore \[\frac{20}{4}=\frac{5^2}{x^2} \rightarrow \frac{5}{1}=\frac{5^2}{x^2}\] \[\sqrt5=\frac{5}{x} \rightarrow x \times \sqrt5 =5 \rightarrow x= \frac{5}{\sqrt5} = \sqrt5\] Thus \[ x= \sqrt5\]

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

thank you so much!!
