A car is traveling in a straight line has a velocity of 4.15m/s at some instant. After 3.91s it's velocity is 13m/s. What is its average acceleration in this time interval? Answer in units of m/s^2

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

The car's initial velocity is less than its final velocity. So we know that it is accelerating. Now do you know that a = change in velocity/change in time So you have change in velocity as = v-u = 13m/s-4.15m/s And you have the time given as = 3.91s So find acceleration!! :) Understood? :)
