Careful: in such a question, the reducing agent must be understood as one of the reactants, not one of the products.
Mn04- because it gives electrons? I believe i meant to say 4 not 2 for my first answer.
No, because \(MnO_4^-\) gains electrons by: \(MnO_4^- + 4H^+ + 3e^- \rightarrow MnO_2 + 2H_2O\)
