(All's Well That Ends Well). So end punctuation would not be appropriate for the following title: Relax: It's Just SAT Writing. (can't italicize).
So would the colon be correct in separating two parts of that title? It would seem to be o.k., but the second part is not technically an elaboration of the first part. So is that title as punctuated o.k.?

It depends. It's important to remember that titles have somewhat different rules than sentences. While there is no end punctuation in titles, interior punctuation tends to follow standard grammatical rules. Therefore, the colon should be a comma in which case it's incorrect. However, in titles the colon almost always denotes a subtitle to follow. So if "It's Just SAT Writing" is meant as a subtitle then it is correct.
