@kropot72

OpenStudy (kropot72):

You can find the conversion factor for dynes to Newtons at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centimetre%E2%80%93gram%E2%80%93second_system_of_units

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahaha ..Google will never let us down xD Wikipedia is there to help too xD

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it does not help haha .

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Why not? The cgs unit of force is dealt with and the conversion factor to Newtons is given. 1 Newton = 10^5 dynes. What more do you need?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

And 1 dyne = 10^-5 Newtons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1newtons is equals to 10raiseto5? or 10tothe5thpower haha same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get what is this sign ? ^

OpenStudy (kropot72):

\[1\ Newton=10^{5}\ dynes\] \[1\ dyne=10^{-5}\ Newtons\]

OpenStudy (kropot72):

In OpenStudy we have a convention: ^ means 'exponentiation'.
