I just need help determining the domain and range
Well, for this you're writing C = 3.07G. But using normal x and y, it would usually be y = 3.07x. Now domain refers to the possible x-values agraph can cover and the range refers tot he possible y-values a graph can cover. So x refers to how many gallons you buy and y refers to cost. Now, gas cannot cost a negative amount. So logically, your range, y, would start at 0. Now, you can always spend as much money on gas as you want. So this means the costs varies from 0 to infinity. So this would be your range \[0 \le x < \infty \]Or if they want interval notation: \[[0,\infty )\]Now we can do the same kind of logical argument for the domain. The domain is going to be theamount of gallons it is possible to buy. You thinkyou could get the domain yourself if you think of it in that way?
well since it is amount of gallons possible to buy, wouldn't that also be infinite?
