sqrt of 2c -3=7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you do it though? I got up to the part where it's sqrt2c = 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but it's under a square root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind c = 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why? I don't get what happens to the 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because first you add 3 to both sides which gives you 2c=10 then you divide 2 by both sides which gives you c=5 the find the square root which 5 has none because it isn't a perfect square.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the 2c is under the same square root. so I can't divide by 2.
