Can someone tell me if my answers are correct??? Lateral area =? Is the area 48Sqr Units?? Area of the base = ? is this 16 SQRunits? https://media.glynlyon.com/g_geo_2012/8/group100.gif
48Sqr Units?
are you supposed to have something else there?
Nope. Just need to find the lateral area an area of base
well, if you meant 48 alone, not quite keep in mind that Lateral Area for a cylinder would be \(\bf \large 2 \pi r h\) r = radius h = height
24?
\(\bf \huge 2 \color{red}{\pi} r h\)
you know, that pesky \(\large \pi \) =)
not really lol. I am new to this kind of math and the teacher doesnt like explaining
w00t? they have even made movies from \(\huge \pi\) the latest movie on it is called "the life of \(\pi\)"
anyhow, is a constant, and it would be in your calculator
Lol :D my answer would be 96!
hmmm, you can either leave it as \(\bf \large 2 \pi r h \implies 2 \pi \cdot6 \cdot4 \implies 48 \pi\)
or multiply it by \(\large \pi \) as I said, is a constant and it will be in any calculator
ohhh so I was right . So 48 lateral and 64 base?
