Fan And Medal~~~~~~~ I'm bringing Simple Math Back Simplify the expression by combining like terms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9p^2 + 3p^3-4p^2-6p^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-3p ^{3} + 5p ^{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to know how to solve it , I already know the answer just wanted to inform you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add/subtract the coefficients of the terms that have the same exponent. 9p^2 and 4p^2 are both p^2 terms so you can just subtract the coefficients to get 5p^2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer sheet some how says that the answer is 5p^2-3p^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, that's the same thing written differently. I ordered it with the highest degree first, but either way is fine.

Oh Ok awesome! Thanks I appreciate the help :)
