Trigonometry 8 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

nUse the definitions of the trigonometric ratios for a right triangle to derive a cofunction identity for tan(90° - A). Show your steps.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

would you say that tangent = sine/cosine? check your trig identities

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

do you have a trigonometry sheet with basic trigonometric identities?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmm, do you have a Unit Circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol no

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Alright so in a right angle triangle, one angle is 90, so the other two would sum up to another 90. If you can rearrange the equation, and apply trigonometry to it, you should get it. It would help to sketch and lable too.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm... so, how are you expected to do that? a magic 8-ball?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooo ok I get it now

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmmm no I didn't that @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyways thanx @wolfe8
