Find a parametrization for the a ray with the inital point (2,3) that passes through the point (-1,1)? Help? Explain? thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To represent a ray you need initial point and direction vector, Let v be vector from point A to B. This will be your direction vector. If A=(x_1,y_1) and B=(x_2,y_2), then v can be represented as (x-2-x_1,y_2-y_1). The vectors starting at point A and having direction of vector v can be represented as: (x,y)=(2,3)+t(-1-2,1-3) for t >= 0
