some please explain how to graph y=|-2x| and y=|0.5x|

its going to look like a sharp corner....

if you look at the link you can see y=|-2x|

where (0,0) is where the sharp corner. Absolute value means that the output will always be positive and if you look at the link you can see that the line never goes bellow the x axis where it is negative.

For the second one I say the sharp corner is the same at (0,0)
