"If we may collect the sentiments of the people of America, from their own most solemn declarations, they hold this truth as self-evident, that all men are by nature free." "Some are of such a nature that they cannot be surrendered."
hey! i think we are working on the same test! do you go to flvs?
i just saw your question too! I think we are lol. did you get a grade yet?
and yes i do!
no im still working on it. its so hard!
but i didnt get this question either .. ask @e.mccormick
Did you look at the top three definitions of nature? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/nature One of them does not apply at all, but the other two are the ones that are being used here.
ok let me see
these ones? : the natural forces that control what happens in the world : the way that a person or animal behaves : the character or personality of a person or animal
the first one states that all men are equally free. and the other states that some people feel they shall never give up no matter what the circumstances. therefore the difference is Freedom, and Attitude.
i agree with @Kevin_Murphy95 , i think he's right..
@Kevin_Murphy95 That is not the question. It asks about how the word nature is used differently.
