integrate 1*dx/( sqrt[2x^3+10x])

@experimentX @Callisto @Vincent-Lyon.Fr

OpenStudy (experimentx):

why do you ask this question, this is not integrable in elementary functions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean why it is not integrable

OpenStudy (experimentx):

this is not easy to prove. there is a theorem called louville theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thxx..for info i will check it out

OpenStudy (experimentx):

if an integral has elementary function, then it is given by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risch_algorithm all computer algebra system like W|A uses this to find the integral

OpenStudy (experimentx):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liouville's_theorem_(differential_algebra) the theorem is pretty hard for undergraduate level. at least i haven't encountered this theorem anywhere.
