OpenStudy (superhelp101):

8 boys are seated in 4 rows, one boy per seat? Is this a permutation or combination?

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

order matters, right?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Tell me why @inkyvoyd

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Does order matter? :)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

idk that why I'm asking you :) @inkyvoyd

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

I believe it does, unless the seats are not distinct.

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

what does that mean, distinct?

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Distinct. Separate.

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

okay thanks!

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

without more details it's a bit hard to tell, but I'd say a permutation for this problem...

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

kk! :) Thanks

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

you're welcome :)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

What if the problem was changed to: 8 boys be seated in 4 seats, one boy per seat? ...... just the rows was changed to seats? @inkyvoyd

OpenStudy (superhelp101):
