Point A is on line m. How many distinct planes will be pependicular to line m and pass through line a ?

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Take a line, there will be an infinite number of planes perpendicular to it. Take a point on that line. Only one plane can be perpendicular to the line at the point. If there were another plane that was also perpendicular to this line at that point, then it would need to be parallel to the plane we just found. But because it would also need to pass through A, it would by necessity also be the same plane we just found. So there are not any other planes possible. So, the answer is one.
