Determine the molarity: 275ml of 0.16M NaOH added to 525ml of 0.040 M NaOH.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry no one in chemistry is helping me lol

OpenStudy (petiteme):

do you know the formula for Molarity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mol/L right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@petiteme :Come back and answer please :)

OpenStudy (jt950):

0.275L x 0.16M = mol1? 0.525L x 0.040M = mol2? (mol1 + mol2)/(0.275L + 0.525L) = Molarity (mol/L^-1)

OpenStudy (jt950):

That's because the solute and the solvent is NaOH instead.
