In problem set 4, the formulas to calculate the value of the 401k fund is, f[0]=Salary*Savings*0.01 for year 1 and f[1]=F[0] * (1 + 0.01 * growthRate) + salary * save * 0.01 for year 1 etc... I don't understand what the *0.01 does or is for? Could someone please explain. I think I get this now as growthRate is an interger and 0.01 is used to convert it to a decimal to calculate growth

I did not look at the code, but to guess: If you are given a percentage as an integer, it would need to be converted to a float.

if you enter fifteen-percent as 15 you need to multiply it by .01 for the calcs to work.
