how do I factor completely z^2(x+1)-3z(x+1)-70(x+1)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

factor out the (x+1) \[(x+1)(z^2-3z-70)\]now factor the \[z^2-3z-70\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooooh. okay! thank you so much!

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i factor out the (x+1) dont i need to multiply it? or i just eliminate it.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

no it needs to be there in the end (x+1)(z-10)(z+7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3a+2a+1a = a(3+2+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right right! now i got it. so once i factor \[z ^{2}-3z-70\] i just write it down next to it. okay, thanks! haha.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thankyouuu! :) have an awesome day!

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):
