Which value(s) must be excluded from solutions for this equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 2 }{ x^2-1 } = \frac{ 3 }{ x+1 } +\frac{ 4 }{ x-1 } \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Yttrium :))

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

1 should be excluded from the answers to this question 'cause when x = 1 \[\frac{ 4 }{ x-1 } =\frac{ 4 }{ 1-1 } = \frac{ 4 }{ 0 } =\infty \] and the expression will have no explanations

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Just be reminded that any values that will give you a denominator of 0 during substitution must be excluded. So, what must be excluded then? @charlieberzak

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Isuru u have forget (-1) though .... the values that should be excluded r -1 and 1
