What do you need help with? I will try to help you the best as I can.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is an equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how can i simplify it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@calculusxy

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I don't know actually the professional way but I can help you with the basic way by guess and check.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Since we know that 2*10=20, we can subtract 24-4=20. and so 20/2=10. so now we know that \[\frac{ 24-4 }{ 2 }=10\]

but the method?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

as i have said to you before that this is the unprofessional way. so i dont know of any formulaes. so here was a previous reply that i have posted above just so if you didn't notice: Since we know that 2*10=20, we can subtract 24-4=20. and so 20/2=10. so now we know that

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

...24 is the value of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks
