Graph. 4x − 3y = 12

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

hi, make y the subject y = (4/3)*x -4 Then substitute values for x and plot the result (y) in a graph where x axis represent the value we guess for x and y axis represent the value we got for it Can u do that bro ...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 4x from both sides so you have -3y=-4x+12. Then divide both sides by -3, simplify, and you'll have y=-4/3x-4 or y=-1(1/3)-4. Plot -4 and since the slope is -4/3 go up 4 and right 3 since it's negative and that's how you graph it
