describe an inequality that you can write to represent all numbers less than or equal to twelve

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Well, we know it will be \[\le 12\] So, what is the only thing we're missing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea. My teacher hasn't taught this yet

OpenStudy (compassionate):

\[x \le 12\] Its saying, "write an inequality for numbers less than or equal to 12." We know that 12 is in there, and our variable can be x, y, or whatever. And since we know the less-than or equal-to sign, we just insert that. Its really easy and intuitive. You'll get the hang of it.
