When you have a table of values where the x values are: 1.9, 1.99, 1.999, 2.001, 2.01 and 2.1 how do you find the f(x) values? Do you plug it into the equation x-2/x^2-x-2 as x approaches 2? Or is there some other magical way to find the f(x) values? When I plugged it into the function it was not the right number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes by using defferentiation

f(x+dx)=f(x)+f'(x).dx
