If the following figure is 180° about the origin, what is the new location? Triangle with vertices J (2, 8), K (zero, 3), and L (negative 3, 6). A. J’ (-2, -8), K’ (0, -3), (3, -6) B. J’ (-2, 8), K’ (0, 3), L’ (3, 6) C. J’ (2, -8), K’ (0, -3), L’ (-3, -6) D. J’ (2, 8), K’ (0, 3), L’ (-3, 6)

To rotate something 180 degrees about the origin, just take the negative of each coordinate. For example...a 4 would become -4....a -6 would become 6

OpenStudy (nurali):

When rotating a two-dimensional figure 180 degrees about the origin, you flip the sign on all the X and Y coordinates. J is (2, 8), so J' becomes (-2, -8) K is (0, 3), so K' becomes (0, -3) L is (-3, 6), so L' becomes (3, -6)

Yes, that's what I just said. She could have finished it from there.
