The graph of f is given. Select the graph of f' how do you read the graph of f so that you can find f'?

When f is increasing, f' is positive. When f is decreasing, f' is negative. So presumably, whatever your choices are for f', you can compare to f. The graph of f' should be negative (y values that are negative, so the graph is below the x axis) wherever f is decreasing; and the graph of f' should be positive (y values that are positive, so the graph is above the x axis) wherever f is increasing
