OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's wrong. It's C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a-picture b-confortable c-brown d-shelf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is C because brown its a color

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think that a "cómoda" is one of these things: http://www.laboticaria.com.ar/images/Comoda%201,00%20x0,45%20x%200,90%20H.jpg The word for "comfortable" is "cómodo." I used to think that "cómoda" was the feminine adjective to "cómodo." But when we say "comfortable," we always say "cómodo," and never "cómoda." That right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you are right and I was wrong with translating as comfortable and therefore the answer would be C. sorry about my mistake and any problems it might have caused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's funny about this question is that all answers have many meanings. A. cuadro: can mean a picture, a frame, a chart, or even a physician's diagnosis. B. cómoda: can mean a dresser or the feminine form of comfortable. C. marrón: can mean the color brown or the thing inside the bells that makes them sound. D. estante: can mean a shelf, a farmer, or something that doesn't move. By their common meanings, the obvious answer would be C. marrón. Because brown is a color, and not a thing. (All though colors are "things" aren't they? i.e. photons moving at certain wavelengths and being interpreted by our brains, haha)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I agree with that ^ "Brown" COULD be a noun. Because it's a thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Inyourhead When you say "we always say cómodo and never comoda", you are wrong. Comoda is the feminine adjective of comodo If I'm a girl I'll say for example: Estoy cómoda en el sofá. But in this exercise "cómoda" is a thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So cómoda is: - The feminine adjective of cómodo - And this: http://www.jadur.com/comodas/Comoda-C-100.13.jpg

Kay so now I'm going back to what I understood before this question came up.
