can anyone tell me please that if a supernova bursts than is it the only condition when a black hole forms of there are some other conditions also..??
anything in galaxy when lost their whole energy will form black hole. for more info read recent research about blackhole
Anything and everything can form a black hole......even ur microwave!!!
i do not understand ur ques
@cambridge-heavy mass body is needed to be black hole
single-degenerate models, involves an evolving star in orbit about a white dwarf, much like the models of dwarf novae and novae. However, in this case, the mass falling onto the white dwarf results in complete destruction of the white dwarf in a Type Ia supernova. To date, this set of models is generally favored, but the details of the eruption are still unclear. What happens next is also a matter of significant debate and ongoing research. It is as yet unclear if the resulting burning front of carbon and oxygen occurs at subsonic speeds (knownas a deflagration event) or if the front accelerates and steepens to become a supersonicburning front (known as a detonation, or a true explosion).If one of the stars in a close binary system is sufficiently massive that it explodes as a core-collapse supernova, the result may be either a neutron star or a black hole orbiting the companion star. In a semidetached system, hot gas can then spill through the inner Lagrangian point from the distended atmosphere of the companion star onto the compact object. i read this in book. i hope this is what u asked for
by "in this case" i mean single degenerate model
gyes i mean that anything which is bulky in space when dies can form black hole..??
here energy is same or not ?@tini12
@humhaainrahipyark energy does not depend on thhe fprmation of black hole..!! when any star even passes through the black hole dn it gets teard off..!!
whatver the tini12 has mentioned it can happen if single energy is possible

i know this..!! but i just wanted to ask that is there any other way a black hole can be formed..!!
no
@08surya r u shure..??
@aayushi.somani --not 100% but i will go with yes
ohk thankx @ 08surya..!!
In order for something to become a black hole, it has to be compressed so that it's smaller than its Schwarzschild radius. The Schwarzschild radius is a distance from the center of a star or another object where math goes crazy (once an object become a black hole, the Schwarzschild radius can be called its "event horizon." At this distance, space becomes infinite, and time disappears. Mathematicians call this "singular" (this is where the word "singularity" came from). Most of the time, this Schwarzschild radius is much smaller than the object. The Schwarzschild radius of the Sun is three kilometers. The formula for finding something's Schwarzschild radius is as follows: R* = 1.48×10-27 M where R* is the Schwarzschild radius in meters and M is the mass of the object in kilograms.
Realistically, however, only stars naturally form black holes, and only stars that have more than 3.2 times the mass of our Sun. Only through some strange supernatural or alien force could you or me become a black hole, because we just don't have enough mass.
thankx @tini12 ur answer was actually wat i wanted..!! thankyou soo very much.!
@tini12 ur really a genious..!!!
@aayushi.somani happy to help next time please try to clearly state the ques, got my mind going..
ohk..!!! i'll try stating myself clearly..!! :P
