explain how to find the x and y intercepts of a line if its equation is written in standard form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-intercept: substitute x=0 and then you'll find the c value (assuming your equation is the form y=ax^2 + bx + c). As for the x-intercepts you'd have to make it in factored form and then you'll be able to get the x-intercepts.
