@phi How would you solve #5 for line D: -5x + 3y = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3y = 5x + 6. Get y by itself. Use the slope intercept form of the equation. Y= mx+ b Solve for y

OpenStudy (firejay5):

thank you @bhaskar.pathk , so can you help me

OpenStudy (firejay5):

#5: I said, "Line A & C are parallel due to their slopes being the same. Line A & B are perpendicular due to their slopes being opposite reciprocals." Is that right? @DSS & @bhaskar.pathk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Firejay5 : sorry bro i m weak in this :( :(

OpenStudy (firejay5):

really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Firejay5 : yes both are parallel as the slope is same.. and a and b are perpendicluar as there slope is reciprocal... i ws confusd as i left geomtry 7 year back
