Here are the two equations. m∠A + m∠B = m∠C m∠A = m∠C – m∠B Can you tell me the difference you see between the equations? What happened to the first equation to become the second equation?

Excellent. You subtracted the m<B from both sides. That is exaclty what the "Subtraction Property of Congruence" allows you to do.
