what is the domain of {(1,2),(2,0),(3,5)}? I just need some help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain is all the x-values of two points. As you know, points are represented as (x,y). So all the x-values on your points, are the domain. Example (1,2) the domain would be 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see...so the domain of (2,0) would be 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, so on and so forth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because 2 is on the x axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The other number, if you are wondering, is the range which is just all y-values. That is correct, as 2 is an x-value(x-axis) it is the domain of those two points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thx for jogging my memory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. And just a little note, if they the numbers repeat themselves, you do not write them twice.
