http://nanharbison.com/sats/math_images/45-45-90.gif notice the 45-45-90 rule the hypotenuse is whatever the other 2 sides are, since they're equal, times \(\bf \sqrt{2}\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf hypotenuse = x\sqrt{2} \implies3\sqrt{2}\times \sqrt{2}\)

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

I'm a bit confused. Does that mean the other side will be 3√2? Or 3√2 * √2?

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

ah, i see. therefore its 6. thank you!

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yeap
