Probability help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (jack1):

correct answer is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i like answer d

OpenStudy (jack1):

@torontoXO A is wrong, stated in question (26 red, 26 black) B is wrong (theoretical red is 26/52 = a half C is ... is ...hmmmm... empirical evidence is data based on observation D is ...right... i agree with @alby69 now... damn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok I somewhat get it. Can someone walk me through D being correct?

OpenStudy (jack1):

13 cards are taken out of a deck of 52 = 39 left 26 red cards originally : 11 removed = 15 left so 15/39 cards in the deck are red probability of choosing a red card now = 15/39

OpenStudy (jack1):

i dunno why c is wrong tho... d is definately right... c is.... i dunno? must be wrong... i guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL! Ok well we'll see. Thanks doeee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is multiple choice so you're sure it is just D?

OpenStudy (jack1):

yeah, the phrase "you can conclude that"in the question is throwing me mathematically, d is correct however, the q's more like experiment ---> result ---> therefore...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hate dumb questions -_-

OpenStudy (jack1):

me also... ummmm goodluck? ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):
